This blueberry mule is the perfect twist for those who are Moscow Mule lovers! The seasonal mule is a berry forward twist on a classic. Typically with a good vodka, some lime juice and ginger beer - the addition of the blueberry jam really adds to the texture and balances out the ginger beer with a fruit component. Try it out now!
Step 1
Take a whole lime and cut into half on its axis, then in half again. Squeeze juice from 2 quarter pieces of the lime (half total) Into a mason jar/ shaker tin.
Step 2
Add 3/4 tablespoon blueberry jam and 2oz (4 tablespoons) of grey goose vodka. Cover and shake until jam Is broken down.
optional* to make an elderflower blueberry mule:
in this step, add 1oz st germain elderflower liqueur, 1oz grey goose vodka to shaker tin and 1 teaspoon jam and shake until broken down. for a drier cocktail, eliminate the blueberry jam.
Step 3
Unlid tin/ jar and add Ice to fill liquid plus a bit more. Cover and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds. Strain It Into a tall collins glass (or leave It right in the jar!)
Step 4
Fill serving vessel with more ice and top with ginger beer. Give It a quick stir to Integrate the bubbles. Garnish with dehydrated lime wheel. Enjoy!
